Grassroots efforts and community campaigning were fundamental to the realization of the new Lone Cone Library. Their visionary Library Director was essential to these efforts, leveraging partnerships for both the community users and fundraising for the new facility. Anderson Hallas came on board to confirm and test the program and assisted to further develop the design concept. The team worked directly members of the community, engaging them throughout the design process. The resulting building, designed to maximize future flexibility, brings to life welcoming spaces resulting in a community driven asset for the charming rural mountain town.
