We are currently seeking a Preservation Architect/Manager to support our preservation and adaptive reuse projects. The requirements for this position are:

• Professional degree in Architecture (5 yr. Bachelor or Master’s Degree required)
• Architectural licensure is required with a minimum of six years as a licensed architect with substantial experience with historic preservation and existing buildings.
• Working knowledge of the SOI Standards and the IEBC.
• Advanced technical knowledge of historic buildings, materials, and assemblies.
• Professionally applied knowledge of historic preservation concepts including assessment writing.
• Proficiency in relevant software (Revit, Adobe, Microsoft).
• Stellar communication skills (verbal, graphic, and written) and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Preservation based community service/professional affiliation a plus.
• Position will require an introductory in-office period and then may transition to a phased hybrid position (2 days remote), upon mutual agreement.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Architect to support our team with a wide variety of projects. Essential job responsibilities include assisting with design, managing the development of Contract Documents, plans and specifications, materials and methods research, code research assistance, coordinating the production schedule, while working closely with and supporting Project Managers and Principals.

The requirements for this position are:

• Professional degree in Architecture (5 yr. Bachelor or Master’s Degree required).
• Registered CO Architect (NCARB Certificate and a minimum of 5 years of licensure a Plus).
• Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience.
• Proficiency in relevant computer software:

• Revit Architecture (Strong Proficiency Required)
• Rendering: Lumion, Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign)
• SketchUp
• Bluebeam

• Strong technical understanding of construction detailing requirements.
• Stellar communication skills (verbal, graphic, and written) and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• A variety of project experience in all phases of the architectural process from SD- CA.
• Experience editing project specifications (experience developing technical specifications with Deltek Specpoint is a plus).
• Current affiliation and/or membership in a local, state, or national industry organization(s) is a plus.
