Project Accounting Coordinator - Architectural Office
Job Description
Nationally recognized, award winning and growing Architectural Design Firm based in Historic Downtown Golden is currently seeking to add a Project Accounting Coordinator to our team! For over 30 years, Anderson Hallas Architects has worked across the West enriching communities with historic and contemporary design. We are a woman owned small business – with the benefit of a close-knit team atmosphere. This role can be a part time (32 hours per week) or a full time (40 hours per week) – based on experience level of applicant.

The responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Working with contracts, project managers, principals and Accounting regarding contract terms, invoicing, and follow-up
- Project set up in accounting software per contract terms Processing subconsultant agreements per the contracted fees
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients (electronic submission or uploading to appropriate portal)
- Maintain document files and record keeping
- Lead and implement procedures related to billing and contract management
- Detailed knowledge of the billing process and contract requirements
- Accurately code subconsultant invoices for Project Manager review
- Project, budget, and other reporting as needed and/or required
- Maintain and respond to incoming emails in shared Outlook email account
- Quality control of various spreadsheets used by the architectural team
- Assist with Bank reconciliation
- Potential to share Deltek tools/ training with inhouse architectural staff, pending expertise
- Special projects analysis as requested by Principals and Project Managers
Skills
- Collaborative team player with high quality work ethic

- Familiarity with contracting terms and billing types (Time & Expense, Firm Fixed Price)

- Good communication skills both in-house and out of house with any client interaction on invoicing questions

Qualifications
College degree helpful. Experience with accounting software is required, with Deltek preferred. High proficiency in Excel and Google Docs, along with MS Office including Outlook, Word. Competitive salary and benefits (please include Salary Requirements with cover letter and resume). *Potential Salary Range: $55K-$70K DOQ/DOE for full time work; prorated for PT work.
