Anderson Hallas Architects, located in Golden, Colorado, is a renowned architectural firm specializing in public sector projects throughout the western United States. Our 20-person team focuses on local, state, and federal clients, delivering both new construction and historic preservation/adaptive reuse projects.
We are a collaborative, team-oriented studio seeking an experienced, engaging, and creative Marketing Manager to lead all marketing efforts. This full-time role involves driving firm awareness, building brand identity, supporting business development, understanding client needs and goals, and producing marketing content. You will work directly with the Principals and technical project leads and collaborate with all firm members.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be well-organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in A/E marketing strategies, campaigns, and project pursuits. Clear, cohesive, and compelling writing skills are essential, along with the ability to produce consistent messaging tailored to each prospective client and audience. The position requires managing multiple projects with varying timelines and deadlines.
Key qualifications include an appreciation for historic building preservation, community-based projects, and adaptive reuse, as well as knowledge of the federal contracting RFQ/RFP process. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Deltek Vision (CRM) is a plus, as is experience with websites, video production, and post-production.
As the Marketing Manager, you must be a self-starter who prioritizes and completes projects in a timely manner. Initially, this role requires full-time in-office presence for at least six months. After this period, there may be an opportunity to transition to 1-2 days of remote work per week, upon mutual agreement.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Developing marketing content and materials for proposals, interviews, and presentations.
- Maintaining marketing documents, files, client contacts, and the website.
- Coordinating regular marketing meetings and maintaining a weekly calendar of activities, submissions, and deadlines.
- Tracking long-term leads and potential projects from procurement sites.
- Conducting research on clients, competitors, legislation, CIPs, RFQs/RFPs, and relevant media.
- Assisting Principals in producing fee spreadsheets for marketing pursuits.
- Proactively developing marketing contacts and job prospects with clients and key subconsultant firms.
- Preparing and tracking the annual marketing budget with Accounting Manager/Principal review.
- Coordinating project photo shoots.
- Leading interview preparation and coordinating the development and production of presentation graphics and research, supporting the interview team’s preparedness.
- Collaborating with Principals and studio members to establish and lead marketing efforts, including press releases, award submissions, and social media content.
* Note: Salary range is commensurate with demonstrated experience, effectiveness, and expertise with skills, software, and business development. The range for this position is budgeted at $75,000-$90,000.
