The Silverton School rehabilitation is a rare example of LEED Gold for a historic K-12 school. Design included a warm and welcoming library, new cafeteria/kitchen, flexible multipurpose room and state-of-the-art classrooms complete with new technology and audio-visual systems.

- Community’s Core: the campus serves the community as a central gathering destination with a playground, performing arts, exhibit and display spaces and gymnasium
- Coordination of 5 different funding sources and their requirements (State of Colorado’s BEST Grant Program; State Historical Fund, CO Dept of Local Affairs, San Juan County voter approved bond, and Silverton School District)
